Cassandra concentrates her practice in the areas of elder law, special needs law, and litigation including guardianship litigation, fiduciary litigation, and will contests. She also focuses her practice of the preparation of estate planning documents including the preparation of wills, trusts, and advance directives, Medicaid and disability planning including the preparation of applicable trusts and asset preservation planning, guardianship, and estate and trust administration.
Prior to joining the firm, Cassandra was an associate for Elder Law Associates focusing her practice on estate planning, probate, and guardianship litigation. She has been a member of the Real Property Probate, Trust Law Section of the Florida Bar, a member of the Family Law Section of the Florida Bar, a member of the Elder Law Section of the Florida Bar, a past director of the Miami Lakes Bar Association, a member of the Susan Greenberg Family Law American Inn of Court of the Palm Beaches, and a member of the Craig S. Barnard American Inn of Court LIV. She is currently serving her second term as the treasurer for the South Palm Beach County Florida Association for Women Lawyers (SPBC FAWL).
Cassandra earned her bachelor’s degree from the University of Florida. She earned her law degree and graduate degree in comparative law from Louisiana State University. During her time in law school, she was vice president of the Trial Advocacy Board and a member of the LSU Law Chancellor’s Student Advisory Board. Prior to her admittance to the Florida Bar, she clerked with the Honorable Maria Korvick in the Eleventh Judicial Circuit Court, Probate Division.
