Feeding South Florida is the largest food bank and leading domestic hunger-relief organization in Palm Beach, Broward, Miami-Dade and Monroe counties, serving 25% of the state’s food insecure population. Last year, Feeding South Florida distributed nearly 119 million pounds (99.3 million meals) of food to more than 706,000 individuals in the state.

As discussed previously, the Elder Law Group's attorneys, paralegals, and team members participate in a biannual fundraiser for a charity selected by the team. A new charity is selected by the team every six months. The charity for the second half of 2021 will be the American Cancer Society.

As part of our community outreach and charitable giving program, team members earn the right to wear jeans in the office on Fridays by making a charitable donation of $5 per week. The team also collects donations through snack sales at the office and other fundraising events throughout the year. The collected amount is donated to the selected charity at the end of six months.

In addition to the team donations, our attorneys and individual team members continue to be active in our community and are dedicated to helping those less fortunate here in Florida and throughout the country by participating in, contributing to, volunteering and raising funds for a wide variety of worthy organizations.
